2. Data We Collect

Account Data

Email address, display name, and profile information provided at registration or via Google OAuth.

Usage Data

Chat messages, session history, feature interactions, signal views, and other activity within the Platform. Message content is stored to power SHEYLA's conversation memory and to improve service quality.

Payment Data

Subscription status and plan tier. We do not store payment card details — these are handled entirely by Stripe or Flutterwave.

Technical Data

IP address (used for free trial abuse detection), browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and session identifiers collected automatically when you use the Platform.

Knowledge Base Content

Any trading notes or documents you upload to the personal knowledge base feature.

3. How We Use Your Data

To create and manage your account
To provide AI assistant responses and inject conversation context
To deliver forex signals and market data
To process subscription payments and enforce plan quotas
To detect and prevent free trial abuse via IP tracking
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
To monitor platform health and fix bugs
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing profiling.

4. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate the Platform, including cloud infrastructure and hosting, authentication and database services, AI model providers, payment processors, and market data providers. Each provider is bound by appropriate data processing agreements and their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Chat messages are automatically archived after 90 days of inactivity via a daily cron job. Archived messages are retained for up to 12 months before permanent deletion. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, row-level security (RLS) on our database, hashed passwords via Supabase Auth, and secure session management. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data
Portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format
